The Artist

BIO

Annalisa Forghieri, also known as “Shivan”, is a professional artist and restorer who graduated with honours from the Faculty of Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, specialising in paper, parchment and photographic museum material.

Over the years she has collaborated with numerous high-level personalities and brands from the gaming industry as UltimateGuard, Fanfinity and Cardmarket including fellow artists, pro players and national and international content creators for Magic: the Gathering.

Today she lectures on art, restoration of collectibles and painting tecniques during events and Magic The Gathering Champonships all around Europe.

She works mainly with acrylics and traditional media, and her work leans towards fantasy and realistic illustration. She is inspired by the old masters and whimsical atmospheres.
